Where is my next book set? Read on to find out!

I did something scary for my next book coming out: I set it in my hometown. I’m already anticipating the texts and social media messages from old high school friends. Is so-and-so modeled after me? Is this story about our relationship?

Short answer? No to everything. It’s a complete work of fiction. However, it’s rich with details about one of my favorite cities ever. So, here’s a quick look at the sites from my real hometown: Warner Robins, Georgia.

Warner Robins is built around an air force base and we are super proud of that fact. We have a museum dedicated to the history and you can always spot plenty of men and women wandering around in uniform.

Ah, my alma mater. Shabby chic, for sure. Once a Warner Robins High School Demon, always a Demon. Here, football ruled, stops for breakfast at the nearby Chick-fil-A were mandatory, and camo was a fashion statement.

Sometimes real life really is stranger than fiction. EDIMGIAFAD stands for Every Day in Middle Georgia is Air Force Appreciation Day. Lest we citizens of Warner Robins all forget that fact, it’s stamped out in some local bushes for all to see. I write about the EDIMGIAFAD hedges in my upcoming book and I’m pretty sure that readers are going to think that I’m making them up. Here they are, in all their patriotic glory.

New book will be coming SOON! Come get your EDIMGIAFAD spirit on with me. 😉
