Happy Little Updates

Call It Kismet From the Top

What’s the latest and greatest in my writing career? Read on to find out!

You guys, there is so much going on these days! It feels amazing to have so many projects in the works and I cannot wait for you to keep reading more from my brand.

If I could have it my way, beta reading would be complete in three days and edits in an afternoon so that we could get to publishing RIGHT NOW. Alas, I live in the real world and these things take time. So in an effort to distract myself and get you as hyped as I am, here’s a little preview of everything I’ve got in the works!

This is the biggie! My next project is a full-length novel called From the Top. Here’s the description:

Lizzie was going to light up Broadway.

But having twins changes plans faster than 16 bars of music. At her wit’s and wallet’s end, she accepts a job back in her Georgia hometown, a place she hasn’t revisited in ten years.

She will have to face more than a feeling of failure among familiar faces. There are loose ends that need tying, and they aren’t bad-looking.

So. Freakin’. Pumped. This book is a love letter to my hometown. I loved writing it and I can’t wait to share it. I mean, just check out that cover art! Doesn’t it get you so excited to make that mental escape to small town Georgia?! Ugh.

After From the Top, I’ve got another title soon to follow. Jury is still out on a name for this one, but it’s the tale of a young woman who hates romance but makes her career in writing love stories. This one was a true joy to write and includes a lot of fun pokes at the tropes and cliches of the romance genre.

Finally, my most current draft is for the start of a four-book SERIES! This new saga follows the intertwining romances of the Gardner girls, a group of sisters growing up on a ranch in Arizona. It’s contemporary, clean sweet romance that will make you want to go marry a cowboy. Yee-haw, baby.

Of course, in the meantime you should definitely read/re-read my debut novella, Call It Kismet. It’s a fun, quick vacation read and a great warm-up to all these longer titles that will be coming soon.

xoxo
